Our Cream Tea Caper is an 8 hour timed event based in the stunning gardens of the Double Locks pub set in the gorgeous Riverside Valley Park in Exeter.
Run Solo or Run as a Relay Team ( teams of 2 to 4 runners, only one team member on the course at a time ).
How far will you run? 1 lap? 2 laps? Half Marathon? Marathon? Ultra? to claim your fantastic bespoke Cream Tea Caper Medal and individual Cream Tea in a box? ( consisting of a scone, jam & clotted cream )

The route is a flat off road route on riverside paths, grass and woodland trail each loop is 3.3 miles, run as many laps as you like in 8 hours. You do not have to run for the whole 8 hours.
Our Race HQ is handily situated in the beautiful grounds of the Double Locks pub which is situated on the riverside, each lap you can visit our 'Jolly Treats station' where water, squash, sweets, cakes and much more await you. We also provide vegan options.

Each finisher is rewarded with:
A Bespoke Cream Tea Caper Medal
An individual Cream Tea in a box, consisting of a scone, strawberry jam and clotted cream.
Tea, coffee and other drinks are available to purchase from the Double Locks.
Race registration opens at 07:15am
Race starts at 09:00am
The latest time a new/final lap can be started is 4:45pm
8 laps equates to a marathon, we are listed on the 100 marathon clubs events and running 8 laps counts as a full marathon.
